From a total of 32 hectares of 30 year old Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot vines, planted on gravelly soils. The vineyards are well-placed, opposite those of Ch.Gruaud-Larose. After harvest, grapes are sorted with a state of the art optical sorting machine to ensure optimal maturity. Temperature controlled open fermentation in concrete vats, with extended maceration and regular pumping over. Aged in French oak for 18 months.
TASTING NOTE Drinking beautifully now, this has a classic Médoc cigar box nose and fleshy, ripe dark fruit on the palate with a textured, gently structured finish.
