Bodegas Borsao Rubic Garnacha 2022 Campo de Borja, Spain

The Garnacha grapes are grown on alluvial soils in the foothills of the Moncayo mountain. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature of 22ºC - 25ºC, with a 15 day maceration period.

The nose is open, generous and spicy. On the palate juicy bramble, cherry fruit and fresh redcurrants dominate. An easy drinking wine where supple tannins are balanced by good acidity and blackberry notes, with a hint of licquorice and black pepper. Drink with lamb and chorizo dishes, or albondigas.
